Owner / Master Colorist
Mary Cocozziello is a visionary in the world of luxury hair artistry. With nearly two decades of experience and advanced training in New York City, she earned the prestigious title of Wella Master Colorist, a distinction held by only the most elite in the industry. Mary is celebrated for her exceptional expertise in customized color, seamlessly blended haircuts, and her specialization in solutions for thinning hair — creating results that are not only beautiful, but transformative.
Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that hair is more than style; it is self-expression. With a discerning eye and a mastery of technique, Mary designs looks that elevate her clients’ natural beauty while reflecting their individuality and inner spirit. Clients trust her for her artistry, precision, and the elevated experience she delivers with every visit.
When Mary isn’t behind the chair, she draws inspiration from traveling, fashion, and time outdoors. She cherishes life with her husband and their two children, who continue to be her greatest motivation and joy.
Megan Roberts
Master Stylist
Megan has been in the hair industry since 2015 after ditching the idea of becoming a graphic designer. Her career started as an apprentice in Downtown Asheville before branching out on her own to build clientele at a premium chain salon. Megan then came to MaryFrank Salon in 2019 and made it her career home.
Hair cutting is Megan’s primary focus. She enjoys creating a cut that is best suitable to the client’s personal style, maintenance, and hair type. The majority of Megan’s cuts are inspired by the 70’s and 80’s bold layered shags, the 90’s bouncy cascading layers, and modern lived in cuts that require minimal effort for that wake up and go look.
Out of the salon she enjoys spending her time painting with acrylic and gauche, going to the gym, and playing piano for her church.
Amber Huntley
Master Stylist
Amber is an Asheville native and now has over 8 years of experience behind the chair. Amber specializes in dramatic hair transformations as well as blondes and reds. She is also a certified DreamCatchers extension stylist; she offers I-tips, Tape-ins as well as Wefts.
Amber is constantly extending her education to provide a well rounded approach to anyone who sits in her chair. She provides a thorough consultation to every client, with the goal of finding the perfect style that will compliment their lifestyle while achieving their hair goals. In her free time Amber enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and spending time with her animals.
Donese Helms
Master Stylist
Donese Helms is a seasoned hairstylist with over 15 years of experience, specializing in seamless and healthy blonding services, bold color transformations, and textured haircuts. Originally from North Carolina, Donese brings both skill and heart to her craft, with a passion for helping clients achieve their ultimate hair goals. Her chair is a space where creativity meets comfort, and every client leaves feeling confident and cared for.
She believes in the power of a great haircut to uplift not just appearance, but spirit. When she's not behind the chair, Donese enjoys the sounds of bluegrass music and spending quality time with friends.
Sage Penland

Sage is dedicated to creating beautiful, customized styles that help her clients feel their very best. She specializes in blonding, bold fashion colors, and grey coverage, bringing a creative eye and technical precision to every service. Whether you’re looking for a seamless blonde, a vibrant new shade, or natural grey coverage, Sage takes the time to listen and deliver results that leave you feeling confident and refreshed.
After excelling in cosmetology school, Sage has been making her mark in the industry, quickly building strong relationships with her clients. Her warm, approachable nature makes every appointment a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
When she’s not in the salon, Sage enjoys exploring Asheville, spending time with her fiancé and their dogs, and soaking in the natural beauty of the area..
Madison Towles
Stylist
Madison specializes in highlights, lived-in styles, and bridal updos, bringing a blend of artistry and precision to every look she creates. She’s passionate about helping her clients feel beautiful and confident, tailoring each style to reflect their individuality and natural features. Whether it’s a sun-kissed blonde, an effortlessly lived-in look, or an elegant updo for a special occasion, Madison ensures her clients leave the salon feeling radiant and cared for.
Since completing cosmetology school, Madison has honed her craft with a focus on blonding and personalized styling. Her warm, collaborative approach makes every appointment an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
Outside the salon, Madison loves spending time with her family, caring for her farm animals, and enjoying life with her golden retriever, Nash. She also values her time at church, finding inspiration and balance that she brings back into her work and connections with clients.
Erica Lambertson
Master Stylist
With over 10 years of experience behind the chair, Erica has built a career on helping clients feel confident, stylish, and authentically themselves. Originally receiving her training as a hairstylist in New Orleans, Erica has recently brought her passion for creative, personalized hairstyling to Asheville.
Specializing in precision cutting techniques as well as extensive color knowledge in balayage, grey blending and highlighting services, Erica takes pride in tailoring each look to fit a client’s lifestyle while keeping an eye on the latest trends.
Erica believes that a great salon experience is about more than just hair—it’s about connection, confidence, and leaving feeling refreshed.
When not in the salon, you’ll find Erica exploring Asheville’s vibrant local art scene, hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains with her dogs, or seeking out new inspiration for fresh, modern styles.
Misty Kelisheck
Master Stylist
Misty Kelischek is a master of precision haircuts and customized color, known for artistry that is as refined as it is innovative. With the trained eye of an oil painter, she approaches color as a true art form-balancing tone, depth, and dimension to create results that are both modern and timeless.
Beyond the salon, Misty directs a thriving community college cosmetology program, where she forged a partnership with industry leader Wella and transformed enrollment from near decline to a competitive, waitlisted success. This leadership role keeps her at the forefront of education, technique, and trend forecasting.
Because her time behind the chair is limited, an appointment with her offers a rare opportunity to experience the expertise of an educator, artist, and stylist whose work is masterfully gorgeous.
Will Butzirus
Manager
Will’s journey in the salon industry started in 2014, marking the beginning of a fulfilling career path. His introduction to this vibrant world started as a front desk associate at a beloved family salon nestled in the heart of Florida. After finishing cosmetology school in 2017, Will worked behind the chair for over three years. He brings his knowledge of hair and passion to help guests and fellow stylists to the front desk.
Outside of the salon, Will loves to create art and spend time outdoors. He makes pottery and textile work such as tufting rugs and crocheting while pulling inspiration from nature and those around him.
